Our Story

The inception of Tim Blaqk was a serendipitous journey that began with a simple act of assistance. It all started when Angelo Blount, our CEO and Founder, lent a hand to his wife in her cosmetics venture, inadvertently uncovering an untapped niche in the market for men's grooming products. In that moment, a brilliant idea took root. As Angelo delved deeper into the world of men's grooming and skincare, the need for a brand to represent his vision became apparent.

It was during this creative process that Angelo’s childhood memories of Harlem, New York, resurfaced, bringing to mind two remarkable individuals who embodied the essence of our brand. One of them was Tim, Angelo’s childhood barber. He was the epitome of suave and always exuded an air of unerring sophistication. The other individual was a neighborhood figure known as Black. He, too, possessed a remarkable sense of style and an unwavering commitment to impeccable grooming. His beard was a work of art, a testament to his dedication to staying sharp and well-kempt. Moreover, Black had a knack for offering invaluable grooming advice. It became evident that a well-groomed man not only looks his best but also exudes confidence and self-assuredness. This realization gave birth to the vision behind Tim Blaqk. Our brand is dedicated to empowering individuals who understand the profound connection between looking good and feeling great.

As time went on, Angelo recognized the importance of inclusivity and diversity in the beauty industry. Inspired by the strong women around him, he revamped Tim Blaqk to include a dedicated line of women's body and skincare products. This line, infused with the same commitment to quality and sophistication, celebrates the diversity and unique beauty of women from all backgrounds. Partnering with skincare experts, we ensured that our products cater to a wide range of skin types and needs, promoting self-assuredness and confidence for everyone.

 

Thus, Tim Blaqk evolved into a comprehensive brand that honors the legacy of its origins while embracing the diverse beauty of all its customers.
